Local Lockdowns

Local restrictions will come into force in Cardiff from 6pm on Sunday. After this time you will not be able to attend the studio if you are from anywhere other than Cardiff.

Prior to this you must also not visit the studio if you are from any of the following areas;

  • Blaenau Gwent

  • Bridgend

  • Caerphilly borough

  • Merthyr Tydfil

  • Rhondda Cynon Taf

  • Newport.

Can we remain open?

Yes. As we are taking all necessary measures to manage risk and maintain social distancing, and classes are capped at 16 participants who all have at least a 2m working space we comply with government guidance on being able to remain open during a local lockdown.

Who can take part in a class?

You can only exercise with others from within the local authority area as long as you maintain social distancing, all reasonable steps are taken to minimise risk, and only do so in groups or classes of up to 30 people.

Can I travel to and from the area to take part in sport?

No, only if you are a professional sportsperson or an elite athlete as designated by Sport Wales. Travelling to and from the area for amateur sport activities is not permissible.

Can I drive somewhere to exercise or play sport?

Yes, as long as you staying within the Cardiff area.

Do I need to wear a face covering when I dance?

As the studio is an indoor public place, you will need to wear a face covering when you arrive and you will need to keep it on depending on what you are doing. If you are preparing to dance or undertaking any activity that isn’t strenuous, especially when in close contact with other people, you will need to wear a face covering. All photographers/videographers and anyone who isn't dancing must wear a face covering at all times.
