Flame Annual Show 2027
Show season is here! Our dancers are already well on their way with their Show routines in class, and they're looking brilliant. Over the coming months, we'll keep building their confidence, polishing their dances and bringing everything together ready for the stage in January.
This page brings together the key information and dates for our 2027 Annual Show, while your Parent Portal takes care of everything that's personal to your dancer.

Everything for your dancer, in one place
The Shows section of your Parent Portal is your personalised Show hub.
Rather than sending you lots of different information and asking you to work out which Show, rehearsal or fee applies to your child, Parent Portal does that for you. You'll be able to see your dancer's performance allocation and rehearsal time, your household's Show fee and package options, practice music and videos, ticket information and the practical details you need as we get closer.
Important dates
Your Show and Rehearsal dates can be found in the Show section of your Parent Portal. Show fees and package choices need to be completed by Monday 2 November 2026, and tickets go live on 1 December 2026.
Taking part
All eligible dancers are included in the Show automatically, so you don't need to opt your child in.
If they won't be taking part, please let us know as soon as possible through the Shows section of your Parent Portal. We use this information when planning routines, formations, costumes and rehearsal arrangements, so letting us know as early as possible really helps.
If circumstances change after you've declined, get in touch and we'll check whether it's still possible to add them back in.
The theatre rehearsal
The theatre rehearsal is an important part of taking part in the Show for all of our dancers, whether it's their very first performance or they've been doing Flame Shows for years.
For our younger dancers and those performing for the first time, it gives them the chance to stand on the actual stage, practise their entrances and exits, find out where they'll wait and become familiar with the theatre before Show weekend. By the time the real performance arrives, they've already done it once. They know the building, they've stood on the stage and they understand much more about what will happen, which helps us set them up for an exciting day they can really enjoy.
For our older and more experienced dancers, the rehearsal gives us valuable time to transfer everything we've worked on in the studio onto the much larger theatre stage. We can properly set spacing, entrances and exits and, importantly, really nail the formation changes within their routines. Those formations are an important part of their choreography and help create the patterns, movement and overall visual impact you see when the dances are performed on stage.
It's also our opportunity to bring all of the practical elements together, so when Show weekend arrives the dancers can concentrate on performing and enjoying the experience rather than working out where they need to be.
Your dancer's own rehearsal time will be shown in your Parent Portal.
What your dancer needs
We organise and hire all of the Show costumes, so there's nothing you need to do or bring with you to the show.
For Show season, the essentials your dancer needs from home are simply their nude leotard, their usual dance shoes and their Flame uniform. We'll give you any specific instructions that apply to your dancer as we get closer.
Everything else is taken care of by us.
Nude Leotard / Body Stocking
Girls wear a nude leotard or body stocking underneath their Show costumes throughout the performance. This acts as their base layer for costume changes, so it is worn instead of underwear rather than over knickers.

You are very welcome to purchase one elsewhere. It doesn't need to be this particular brand, but please make sure it is:

Please avoid styles with wide or visible nude shoulder straps, as these can show underneath some of our Show costumes.
Older dancers who need to wear a bra should make sure this is also completely hidden underneath their costumes, using clear straps where needed.
For boys, a nude leotard isn't required.
Show fees
The 2027 Show fee is £41 and includes your dancer's costume hire and Show participation.
For dancers taking part with more than one class or across more than one Show, the Show participation part of the fee is only charged once, so there is a small saving on each additional class.
You don't need to calculate any of this yourself. Your Parent Portal will show your household's exact Show fee automatically, taking into account multiple classes and any siblings taking part.
Show photos, video & packages
When you complete your Show payment, you'll be able to choose the package that suits your family. Show Only covers your dancer's Show participation and costume hire, while our Media Package adds professional Show photography for your participating child or children and our professionally filmed Show video at a discounted package price.
Natalie photographs every dancer, and families choosing professional photography receive a full digital collection of their child's Show photographs, including individual, group and performance images. These are usually ready around one month after the Show.
The Show is also professionally filmed, and families choosing the video receive the complete Show from start to finish, not just their child's dances. This year the video will be provided as a digital download only, with the finished video expected to arrive at around the same time as the photographs.
Photography is charged per participating child, while the Show video is charged only once per household, even where siblings are taking part. Your Parent Portal will calculate your family's exact discounted Media Package automatically.
The deadline to choose the discounted Media Package is Monday 2 November 2026. You can still order professional photos or the Show video individually after this date and for up to one month after the Show, but these will be charged at their higher individual prices rather than the discounted package price.
Tickets
Tickets go live on 1 December 2026.
Each participating household receives a guaranteed initial allocation for their performance, giving every dancer the opportunity to have people there cheering them on before any remaining seats are released more widely.
Your Parent Portal will show the information that applies to your household, including your Show and ticket information, before tickets go live. All seating is allocated, and accessibility information will also be provided for families who need it.

As Show weekend gets closer
We'll gradually add the practical information you need to your Parent Portal, practice resources and anything specific to your dancer.
There's no need to remember everything now or keep checking lots of different places. We'll let you know when there's something new to look at or something you need to do.
For now, simply head to Shows in your Parent Portal, check your dancer's allocation and let us know there if they won't be taking part.
Then we can take care of the rest.
